Christmas Break Coming to an End

A week from now I will be back at Iowa State with my first day of spring semester classes completed. The break has been great, but I am getting for school to start again. Sarah came home at the beginning of break and for two weeks the house was full of ultimate scrabble, scategories, homemade soup, violin, cello, and piano music, and lots of knitting and crocheting. I repeat, there was a lot of knitting and crocheting! But after all of the visits with family and friends and the time to enjoy home and each other, Sarah took a plane back to France while Dad began his trip to the south eastern states, leaving Mom and I to hold down the fort with the help of Jenna, our three-year-old dog who thinks she is still a puppy.
